One of the things I value most in therapy and coaching is recognizing that no two people are the same, and that meaningful work rarely comes from forcing everyone into the same format.
My first priority is always listening carefully and working to fully understand the person sitting in front of me, including their experiences, relationships, emotional patterns, strengths, stressors, and goals. From there, the work becomes collaborative and tailored to the individual rather than following a rigid formula.
I offer both in person and telehealth sessions, allowing for flexibility across different schedules and time zones, including clients located outside of the United States depending on fit and regulations. I also intentionally avoid overloading my schedule because I believe quality, attentiveness, and genuine engagement matter far more than rushing people through sessions.
When beneficial, I may also provide personalized materials and support outside of sessions, such as communication exercises, structured schedules or work plans, reflection prompts, practiced dialogue, parenting strategies, notes from sessions, or tools tailored to the client’s specific goals and challenges. I also value collaborative communication between sessions when appropriate and mutually agreed upon, particularly when working with parenting related concerns or family dynamics.

KAMI SIME
I am a coach and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida with a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Miami. Through Talks with Kami, I provide coaching and supportive services to individuals, couples, and parents across the United States and internationally. My work is informed by my background in mental health counseling, relational work, and emotional wellness.
People seek support for many different reasons. Some are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting concerns, stress, or difficult decisions. Others are looking for greater self understanding, stronger communication skills, more balance in their daily lives, or support in reaching personal and professional goals.
In addition to emotional and relational support, coaching may focus on areas such as goal setting, time management, decision making, accountability, communication, and creating meaningful change in everyday life.
